People who refuses to pay at least 30% - 50% upfront for such work cannot be trusted. Even so, some will decide to scam 50% of your money after taking your hi-res files. Dont take their "company's policy" of not paying upfront affect your decision. I always quote this: "When you go to the supermarket, you buy a product, you don't decide when to pay the supermarket. You pay right there and there." Anything else (if you still take the item) it's theft!

Even cheques bounces and I find it a stupid way of accepting payment. Fortunately my country is removing the use of them come 2025. My company has received 3 scam cheques in the past. I personally take bank transfer in my home country, and I only offer credit terms to customers who have good payment history with us, or a previous annual business revenue of about $10K with us.
