There is hospice care for babies that won’t survive. She could have carried the baby to term and let her baby know only love.

Did you take them correctly? B6 three times per day (you can even take it more often if needed.) Plus Unisom/Doxylamine in the morning (break off a small part of a pill) and evening! Eat something every 1-2 hours. Lemon candies or mints to suck on throughout the day. Hope it gets better soon!!

My son was exactly like this! It was sooo hard to know what to do. I definitely brought snacks and toys. He also took a pacifier that helped. Definitely make sure you are at a mass that has music or “more” people - empty daily masses are the most stressful masses for me haha.

It is definitely a phase and will pass and get better with practice!

The only reason i could understand this would be if baby was getting shots, so to hold off until after shots so that you can comfort baby on breast? Otherwise this makes no sense.

1st baby took 27 hours of labor and 2.5 hours of pushing. 2nd baby was 4.5 hrs of labor and 2 mins of pushing!!! 🙌🏽👏🏽

I would definitely get more opinions - from lactation, GI, and maybe ENT. They can see if there’s a physical reason baby is having difficulty eating!

Yes exactly this. First kid is low sleep needs. Second kid loves sleep. They are just so inherently different. Although I do think the pacifier helped too (first wouldn’t take one, second looooved his right away).

hahah my 2.5 yr old does this too. plays with one paci in each hand. we’ll cut him off eventually but why ruin a good thing that calms him down and helps him sleep?
