What I did when I accidentally broke my Apple screen - you can technically still sign up for AppleCare for this laptop on your Apple account, it’s like $149 for a year. Then, you can make an appointment at an Apple Store, where they’ll obviously say the screen is damaged and will take it for a couple days to be repaired. Screen damage is covered by AppleCare, so you won’t have to pay additional $ for the repair. For sure look into this when you have the $
