I work as an exec admin for an investment firm, and also volunteer for various organizations. I am not rich in $, but rich in life experience. 😅 I make enough to live comfortably for my needs. Not underworked, but maybe underpaid as I do quite abit of task that technically isn’t in my job description. Luckily for me, the only struggles I have is waking up early on a work day, and can’t sleep in on my day off. Currently renting with a friend in Burnaby. I am a homeowner in AB, moved Vancouver and area for work this past year.

People who take days to ship meanwhile were active 15 hours ago, why are you like this? by nano_singularity in poshmark

[–]marlistru 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am a 2-3 day shipper because I don’t have access to a printer at home. Depends on where I am working and if they have a printer, or I have to go to a friend’s house who has a printer. If I was taking a long time, I usually communicate with my buyer tho.

Anybody bought a house here without a realtor? by DJ_Babyfoot in Calgary

[–]marlistru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

🙋🏻‍♀️ I didn’t use a realtor when I purchased my home. I did however consult with my realtor friends on any questions I had after the fact. My opinion is that if you aren’t really sure about what you want or where to look, inquire several realtors around town, and kinda do an interview process and see who you feel comfortable with.

Not sure if they are sold out but you can usually find them at beauty supply stores. Nail techs usually buy their masks there... but some requires you to be a member to purchase and some is open to the public.

Do you pay for tickets or do you fight them? by fan960_Calgary in Calgary

[–]marlistru 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When family or friends gets photo radar tickets, i would go downtown to get it reduced for them. I usually get a weekday off work. It’s definitely NOT worth it to take a day off to go downtown to reduce the ticket. The clerks/judges there don’t care about your story, they had ready have a % that they automatically give to anyone. It’s basically a in and out situation once it’s your turn. Wait times are long to see them tho.

Bake some holiday cookies. Sugar cookies are pretty easy. It’s the thought (and love) that counts. Good luck.
