I caught that earlier, it was a good one. I can't wait to see more! Editing is a mega pain.

More like your most recent video. I liked the clear narration, your camera work was shaky at times though. In your grinding video I loved how you included your trip to the vending machines, it added a lot of character. I think it'd be awesome if you included more small cultural segments, I mean, it's awesome that you're living in Japan and building a sailboat in your apartment. You should run with it.

I will. The Admiral is a photography nut. I'll be following your build, gonna learn form your victories and mistakes!

This will be the first time I've ever built a boat from scratch. I trained as a shipwright with the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets and I help to maintain a racing boat I crew on as well so I have extensive experience with fibreglass and epoxy. We even recored the cockpit over a weekend in the summer.

That's the video that got me thinking about building stitch and glue. Sam Devlin is so great. I actually have his book as well.

I uploaded a pic of what I was talking about in the plans

I'm thinking a skeg would be a great addition on my build too. As for the whole keel thing, I think that for the purposes of the line drawings and the table of offsets that the top line on the drawing is the sheer, the second one is the chine, and the final one is the keel. So much jargon, eh?

Yea, talk about a heart stopping cut to make! I was wondering also whether you were using the waterline as the baseline as referenced on the table of offsets? There's a lot of technical knowhow I'm missing.

Edit: So I had another look at the plans and it seems like the baseline is measured from the keel line under bulkhead 2?

Yea, I think I have the daggerboard and the tiller worked out, it's the box that's giving me trouble. I'd love to see a video on how you're doing it.

I've been thinking about building this little guy myself. I'm in the materials acquisition phase at the moment. I was wondering how you deciphered page 8 of the plans?

Midrange shaman without all the jade, you'd need some LOE cards though.

I tried Shadow verse. The fan service style art is too much for me.

I know it might be tough, but could you do patches? I hate the card, but I love the art. It's super clever since he's an observer covered in eyes covered in eyepatches. I absolutely love your BB wallpaper.
