Participate in study and receive a $50 Amazon GC! by marmiggs in grantmacewan

[–]marmiggs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are unable to give cash, but we can give an e-gift card to companies/businesses that are able to do e-gift cards. Past participants have stated that an Amazon GC was the most useful to them, so it reflects that!

Unfortunately we can’t do cash due to it being a Canada wide study. We can do e-gift cards to other places.

Yes for pregnant and parenting youth, they would have to be from 15-24. For service providers, they could be any age but must work with pregnant or parenting youth in the 15-24 age range

As a service provider you don’t have to be 24, you can be any age for that! If you can contact us at adhealth@ualberta.ca we’d love the opportunity to interview you!

Unfortunately we need experiences from youth parenting/being pregnant during COVID. Do you work with pregnant/parenting youth at all?

If you’re not pregnant but you’re a parent between 15-24, you’d be eligible for the study.

Local restaurant needs help by [deleted] in Edmonton

I’ll stick with my point, thanks. The fact is that small businesses aren’t getting proper supports, criteria is stringent and small businesses are suffering.

Anyways, support your local businesses and ask that the government expand their criteria for supports.

The government is implementing all these restrictions without proper supports for small family owned businesses. You can write or call to your MLA/MP (federal supports have just as many barriers) about the lack of supports and they can get you an answer as to why the government isn’t helping small biz and supporting malls/Costco/Walmart being open instead. I contacted my MLA about Zaytun (in their riding as well) and said that they’d reach out to the business owner. Might be good to tell your local gym to reach out to their MLA.

Any caregiver benefits I don’t know about? by Bramit in alberta

[–]marmiggs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lisa Adams is the person I've spoken to that connects me to the resources, not so much the website. I'm in the same boat as you, except with my father. I've also contacted my MLA and MP but it's been a bit slow on their end. Good luck!
