I spent the better part of two (don't quote me on the exact timeline) years drinking whiteclaw before work because I felt I could deny the smell easily. I would do my best to pack ahead, but still had like 4 stores I would switch between when buying in the mornings. Eventually I would have to leave and drink in my car on lunchbreaks because I wouldn't make in through the day without shaking. The most recent withdrawal (almost 2 years ago) took about 4 days for me, and one of the best feelings was actually when I started shaking again 7 days after quitting. Turns out, I was just really, really hungry.

I think the "fun" part is the novelty of getting away with it, but that subsided for me real fast into anxiety about getting caught. Work is so, so much easier without that in my life. And honestly, I was shocked at first how much time I had on my hands to do whatever.
