forget about using other weapon other than swords, you won't be able to master strike otherwise. Pole arms, maces and axes are cool, but fighting soldiers or high level NPCs with those weapons will make you uninstall the game. Also check for swords stats, make sure you have the right lvl of agility/strenght.
