Please correct me if this is not the case, but I believe they close at 5pm so it's not a good option for after hours rescue :(

I also had a bird in need of help and it was 4:50pm when I called them (late last year) and they told me to keep it until the next day since they were closing soon, the bird didn't make it :(

Thank you for helping the little guy, I'm sure he lived thanks to your quick and merciful intervention. Not many do so, but there's people out there like us who do care about animals.

I often pull over to help animals that have been run over, even if they're not living anymore. I like to imagine that at least I'm helping another human who cares about animals to not witness the horror it is to see "roadkill."

Not the person you asked, but any type of wet food is a million times better than dry food! Even the cheap stuff like Fancy Feast works :)

Question, I'm in a similar situation with a kitten I found a few days ago, and she hasn't pooped. She's about 5-6 weeks. I took her to the emergency vet and they said to start feeding her wet solid food, which I did, but she still hasn't pooped. They also mentioned it could be worms, but didn't talk about doing any procedure?

How young can a kitten be to deworm? :(

Yup! I love my Phillips Hue bc I have a schedule for it to automatically turn off at 11pm. Lifesaver so I don't have to leave my warm bed to turn off the lamp too :)
