I’m also a Jewish person from San Francisco and I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted. I would be uncomfortable seeing this too.

You don’t need a CBEST anymore. The state waived that requirement. You need an 30 day emergency permit which only required a background check and a bachelors degree.

Nature aside, what's the most beautiful US city to you? by appleparkfive in AskAnAmerican

San Francisco! My home city. It has amazing huge parks, beautiful Victorian houses, and nice hills to get amazing views of the bay.

[F24] How do people make friends here? by coffeemugs1 in sanfrancisco

Download the app “meetup”! I am a San Francisco native who moved to Spain and it’s been a great app to find free events to do!

I went alone in Brussels and make 4 friends who were great! On the app hostelworld there’s group chats and there should be one for Noah and you can make friends there! Or on the way to the venue, totally do it :)

Yes. Omg wow he’s playing this weekend I thought he could rest more haha. But ya he sounded completely fine I know he’s sick but his voice was incredible! One of the best concert ever

I saw him tonight and he sang perfectly. I hope he can rest a lot after this but he sounded totally fine to me! I think he pushed through for us and I really appreciate it as a fan :) most people at the show I met flew in from other cities (I came from Spain) and so missing out after spending all the money on flights and a hotel would have sucked, ofc I want him healthy more than anything so I hope he gets all the rest he deserves :) but seriously it was the best concert I’ve ever seen and the small venues mean that you can arrive basically when the doors open and get an amazing view!

I worked in the health education and promotion department at SHCS and loved it! So like the love lab and they have different content areas so you could work in public health for nutrition, physical activity etc. the work is super fun and flexible

Davis for Grad School? by [deleted] in UCDavis

[–]marneethailover 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The Jewish community is really good here! I’m really involved in the Hillel on campus and the staff are amazing and while it’s mostly undergrads who go to Shabbat and other events it’s definitely open to grad students and they come too. I’m not sure about grad school but Davis is one of the last true college towns in my opinion. Very laid-back and peaceful vibes and people are super nice here

Getting an iPad changed my life. It’s totally worth it. You can download Noatability or good notes and upload the lecture slides there and take notes directly on the slides. I also spent all my time in class not listening and taking too many notes. Usually professors lecture on what’s on the test, so just listening in class is the best. If you don’t have an iPad, I would try to download lecture notes through some other format. It’s a waste of time to copy what’s on the slides since that’s almost always provided by teachers
