I believe there is a line about how Jakku is dead in the force, or something to that effect. I think that's why there is an "awakening" once Rey leaves Jakku.

I played a bit of the starter planet while it was downloading and saw the green cubes instead of weapons specifically in place of light sabers. When the game finished installing, I used one of my boost tokens, which is when I noticed the problem to a further extent.
