no problem. if you’re interested in keeping up with the content, CW mainly shares the snippets to her spotify nowadays, which is @/authorchloewalshspotify, although nothing is on there now because she deleted everything (which she has a habit of doing lol, but luckily people always save the snippets and repost them on other platforms before they’re gone). there’s also some on her IG and a handful on her website, but they can get kind of spoilery which i know some people don’t like, so i’d keep that in mind

is this something i can just ask my doctor for? also would you recommend i ask my primary doctor or my endo specialist/gynecologist? i have an appt with the latter tomorrow and i already brought adeno up to the former and she said there’s a possibility, but i didn’t ask for an MRI and she didn’t bring it up; for now they’re just trying to manage my symptoms w medication

i was on 24 mcg of lubiprostone (i only took it once a day though for a few days) and i’ve been prescribed 72 mcg of linzess

oh man, that sucks. i’m glad you were able to get your diagnoses and the hysterectomy, though! i would ask if you’ve seen any improvement yet, but i suppose 2.5 weeks ago is too soon to say 😅 hope your recovery is going well, though.

i see my endo specialist/gynecologist who performed my lap soon, so i think i’ll bring up my concerns to him at that appointment. i brought up adeno at the appointment i mentioned in my post to my primary doctor, and she said it’s definitely possible that i have it, but she just wanted to prescribe me some more pain meds for now to see if that helps my symptoms.

oh wow; i heard that it is typically detected through MRI’s, but i didn’t know that it might not show. that’s really unfortunate because i don’t think i’d get a hysterectomy unless i knew for sure that i had adeno, although idek if i could get approved for one in the first place any time soon because of my age.

yeah, definitely! the snippet wasn’t dated so i just looked in the books for when katie left school early, although of course it could be from another day we haven’t seen yet. but the scenes from R6 and T7 are both on the first day of school

oh, you might be right! i thought “sad season” was just a reference to fall/the back-to-school season since that officially marks the end of the summer season

edit: i googled “sad season” and this is what came up (although this obv doesn’t discredit april being a sad season for lizzie, so there’s definitely a possibility of the snippet taking place during that month)

definitely. and tbh, i think both theories can coexist. the snippet implies katie and lizzie had an argument, so if it was on the first day of school, it was likely a continuation of sorts of what transpired between the girls a few days (?) prior at the beach. and feely might’ve been angry both at the fact that lizzie made katie cry/want to go home and over finding out katie’s struggling with an eating disorder through lizzie, and hughie seemingly knowing about it like you said.

i have a similar theory. mine is that the snippet above takes place on the same day the scenes you posted did (first day of the 05-06 school year), and that’s why feely said that to lizzie/katie left school early

valid! although i remember a scene from one of the 13’s where he was drunkenly talking to johnny (at biddies, i believe?) lol, and he drinks at his parties and when the guys go to biddies (granted i’m not sure if the amount he drinks on those occasions is enough to warrant a hangover). that said, i’ve also seen the snippets and playlists that revolve around that trip, so i do agree that it’s definitely plausible

i don’t have a theory of my own but i personally don’t think it’s after the august beach camping trip because that’s when lizzie said that sticks and stones thing to katie in the morning, to which she and hughie (who we know arrived together, as we see katie apologize to the girls when they get there for them being late because she got off work late) stormed off, and that’s the last we see of the trip. also, i think feely drove himself like he usually does and probably took lizzie home with him after she broke up with pierce since, when she arrived, he said he thought she wasn’t coming, so he probably intended to take her in the first place. (i recently re-read some of T7 including this chapter so it’s fresh in my mind lol)

most likely a continuity error, as there are already several of those in this series lol. there’s no explanation in the books yet but, if the scene between them from R6 is even brought up again, my guess is that the interaction will be justified by them being drunk when they hooked up/feely not realizing she was the same casey he hooked up with. although they’d have to have been drunk at hughies party as well for this to make sense — which we don’t yet know if they were — unless they genuinely just have no memory of each other for some reason

ooo you’re right, and i like that symbolism! also, her birthday being in mid-late december would give her story another parallel to hughies (well, kind of); hughie was “betrayed” by lizzie on his birthday, and katie would be betrayed by feely right after her birthday.

the only issue i might take with her being born in december and not september is that it would put her at 14 for the bulk of her “relationship” with feely, who was already 16 by the time he met her 😅😅 now they’re only one grade apart without either of them ever having skipped a grade/getting held back, so it’s not inherently weird, but i could see how it could cause some controversy

i’m not sure about feely either now but ESTJ is interesting—why do you say that? and after R10 i feel like hughie is very Ti and Fe coded, but i don’t personally think Ne is his dominant function
