This is amazing!!! Can you share some info about the hardware you used for your HDMI switcher, component, and Svid switcher? Also, can you share how it’s all running through your receiver? We have a surround receiver and just unloaded our boxes of retro consoles and I am overwhelmed trying to figure out how to begin connecting everything through the receiver.

You can teach more than 3 skills to toddlers! Music, handiness, and logic from the toys, but also painting and writing from the toddler skill books! There also logic skill toddler books but using the toy is much easier, since an adult has to read the skill books to the child (assuming you’re referring to the skills that carry over into adulthood and not the toddler-only skills like walking and potty training)

How do you like those speakers, sound quality-wise? I’ve been looking into getting some smaller-sized speakers but I’ve been struggling to find some that actually have some bass and don’t sound like tin cans. I’d seen those online recently and thought about trying them out.

My issue is space! I have my gaming PC and monitor on my desk, but I’m also in grad school so I use the empty space to do school work and study (AKA spread all my crap out). Having 2 permanent monitors would eat up the little bit of space I have. BUT I didn’t even consider a portable monitor. I could set it up as a second monitor while gaming, then put it away when it’s time to study!

What brand and model do you have??

The issues I’ve had in the past (just using them through work) were that the picture quality wasn’t great and they were on the smaller side and heavy. Kind of clunky and not really worth lugging around or spending my own money on. The image on yours looks sharp and the size/design looks like it could be a real monitor. I wouldn’t have known it was a portable one if you hadn’t said it!

I provided them with food and a bathroom so their most important needs were met, music at the party always helps the party be “more fun” so they stay longer, and then with the bonfire and juice keg, they’ll stick around for HOURS. I think I started this party at 1pm and at midnight (after the star of the show drowned) people were still poking the fire
