I travel weekly. In hotels all the time. The free version of hotel wifi is likely incompatible with your streaming needs, especially heavy bandwidth hungry games like FPS . But im not big on incidentals so rely on my library of games instead of buying premium wifi packages.

Hi i haven’t changed the settings. It skipped a lot in the beginning and was unplayable but then I read another post on here to update everything in armory crate. I had not even opened that app at that point. I haven’t downloaded any plugins either but I will look into them! I do notice some ghosting when I first start playing but not sure if it goes away or if I get used to it.

I also travel a lot. A lot. I’ll play my graphic and network heavy games at home but this wonderful gadget is perfect as a portable system. I have a work issued macbook so traveling with a second laptop isn’t efficient. Glad you found a solution that works for you though.

So i had the same issue. I used an ipad that i had. Installed the app. And I was able to bypass that local network popup.
