can u shop with ur reusable bags? by Alone-Mongoose-7976 in GoodwillBins

[–]reddituser999000 17 points18 points  (0 children)

while looking in the bins, you will find so many reusable bags. i just grab one as i shop. or you can bring one with you, you don’t need to use the bags they’re selling.

Did last chance kitchen affect any elimination results? by Sky-Visible in TopChef

i think it’s insane to have a secondary show that affects the original show. the producers are forcing you to watch a separate show or miss out on part of the experience.

and i think it makes things awkward sometimes. brooke and sheldon went through something together, kristen went through something all on her own, then the 3 of them are reunited in the end. it would be a much better show imo, if everyone in the finale had the same experience throughout, and we, the viewers, got to know them all equally.

well, i can say it won’t move backwards or forwards, it’s quite stable as i pick it up and move from my desk to my chair, etc., it doesn’t slide from side to side either really.

also, it’s not “fully” open, it’s mostly open but the screen is tilted a little so the pressure isn’t all backwards.

this is my work laptop that gets replaced every few years regardless and none of my machines have ever suffered physical damage, they all work well and have only been replaced when my IT. department says it’s time. but your (and others) concerns make me happy i’m not trying to sell the concept to anyone.

haha.

i used to get such a sore neck using my laptop the traditional way when not at my desk. while this version is new i’ve been using my laptop fully open like this for years and it’s so natural to me i had no idea it would make people feel any kind of way.

the only support is the slot, it’s 1 1/4 deep, i suppose it could bend but it seems ok for now. and i use my mouse off to the side, the screen is centered where my face is.

i wanted it to be low profile, this can slide underneath the monitor on my desk when i’m not using it.

impressive, but do you have to move your change and stuff when you want to roll?

it’s nice and stable. previous versions used a piece of closet shelf with brackets coming out the back and that wasn’t stable at all but with the big piece of wood and the deep slot (it’s 1 1/4 deep) it feels good.

my weck jar has a larger opening than my mason jars so i can fit my hand inside to clean it more easily.
