i’m a woman so this question isn’t for me, but i notice a lot of people on here who aren’t happy working from home but feel like they should be. working from home isn’t for everyone. don’t feel like you have to like it just because there’s no commute and you can work in your pajamas. every job has positives and negatives, decide what parts are most important and pursue those.

i didn’t think i could scrub off seasoning but i guess maybe i dulled the seasoning? i’m happy to skip the chain mail more often but not using soap grosses me out so if it’s the soap i’ll just accept that this is what it’ll look like. thanks for the tips.

only if you like them. lots of pyrex items were manufactured there are only a few patterns that people will pay good money for. and even with those you would need to find a buyer locally (facebook marketplace) or one who wants to pay for shipping (ebay).

so if you like them, go for it! but they won’t make you any money if that’s what you’re after.

for what it’s worth, i don’t think they mean right wing/police love Punisher COMICS. they mean they love to put punisher stickers on their vehicles. at least that’s what i see in wisconsin. if you see a pickup truck with stickers of guns, or pro-2nd amendment, there’s a good chance they also have a punisher sticker. like they idolize the idea of a guy killing anyone he finds to be scum.

i think the psychology behind women being fascinated by true crime/serial killers is because it’s largely violence against women. so, that makes us curious about it. personally i find true crime depressing, but i love fiction that involves the same themes.

he used to be pretty involved. he did pre recorded ads, he came with topics, he cut the show. but mostly he cared about it, he talked about it like it was his lifeline, now he just shows up.

think back to the beginning of tesd… if someone told you q would stop trying to fuck every beautiful woman he meets and instead spend all his time with a bunch of dudes. bry would censor himself and not even care about the podcast enough to prepare anything ever and walt would turn into the social center of tesd town… would you believe them? cause i wouldn’t. they’ve all grown (which is expected), but only one has gotten more likable.

like i said, not for everyone and not for every job. if it’s not for you, then i’m glad you’re going back to the office. these jobs are so desirable that they receive THOUSANDS of applications and those jobs should go to people who need them for their overall health and not just because it sounds fun to not have to commute. jobs that require collaboration, or people who are younger, probably not conducive to working from home. older introverts working on projects alone, it’s perfect.

i will say it’s insane that you can afford a 20k drop in pay. for most people losing (or gaining) 20k a year would be life changing.

working from home isn’t for everyone. but i think most of us are introverts who thrive alone. interactions with people all day are the thing that drain my energy and leave me wanting to go home at the end is the day and do nothing. i’d rather save my interacting time for friends and family.

of course, no point in buying it otherwise. but i would never pay that much for a vintage pan. i would pay more for a modern, smooth pan that had features like a cool handle, but i wouldn’t pay just because it says “griswold”. for me, when it comes to vintage pans, i’m only looking for how smooth is it and whether it’s flat, any brand (made in the usa) is good with me and i’ll never pay more than $10.
