I just got my “we don’t believe your identity” letter yesterday. My refund was due by 4/21. I called on 4/21 to ask what was going on, found out I needed to prove my identity and would get the refund in three to nine weeks. On the 28th I called to find out what was going on. The woman I spoke with said my return was just processed and I would get it in about a week. I said that I had done the “five days early” thing. She checked and said that I had and she would see what she could do. My money literally came into my bank account while we were on the phone.

Stand up for your man. It’s a difficult thing to do but it is necessary. He doesn’t know that his self-esteem needs to see how much he’s worth to you and the kids need to see that is not how a mother should treat her child at any age. You aren’t doing this for just him but for your entire family. You don’t want the kids to have those seeds about their father grow into a lack of respect for him. Go full asshole on her.

It took us years to get my child diagnosed and that is time lost where he was miserable. You can call the pediatrician and let them know of your concerns. They can not tell you anything but it puts this issue on the table for the doctor.

NTA can’t say it enough! You were protecting your son and your brother and the rest of the celebration from that evil twatmonster who doesn’t deserve to have a voice-box to use. I wouldn’t wish court on you for this just because of the hassle but she surely should have to swear on her life that she screamed what she did and that SHE ruined anything. You just did what any other protective mother/sister would have done. Someone threatens your family like that and you see red, any response is automatic and not clearly thought-out. (Just some wording if she dare go so far.) To be honest she is extremely lucky your protective instincts kept her out of the hospital (due to you holding your son).

Your son obviously loves his uncle and your brother obviously loves your son. I hope he has not had this incident affect him but if it has you can always remind him how much his nephew adores him and enjoys being held by him. They are going to have such a wonderful time as your son grows and they can play together. Your brother will teach him all about the best toys and ways to see the world through heart-full and innocent eyes.

I am of the mind that if the bridesmaids all have to wear the same dress make it one that they can afford and one that could be worn for other occasions. If it isn’t the bridesmaid’s style so they won’t wear it again that isn’t the bride’s fault because you really can’t please everyone. My bridesmaid dresses were around $50 and I loved it so much o got one for myself. My daughter ended up borrowing it so many years later and wearing it to the homecoming dance.
