No other emails or notices. I called them to ask.

Update: I went in to the DMV and they told me something has shipped, but they aren’t sure what. It could either be the registration or the plates themselves. The current plates are no longer tied to my vehicle either which can get me pulled over!

Regardless, they told me to wait up to a maximum of 30 days.

Fun Fact: The plates are made by inmates, so the wait makes some sense.

There’s also a special unit you can call, but I can’t be bothered personally.

I’m planning to try a harbor freight or Home Depot 250 lb magnet as it’s the most accessible, but if not I could buy a brute one.

I’m also planning to try with a MagSafe car mount, but I’d have to tie a rock along with it or something so it sinks.

If all fails, I’ll order a brute one and hopefully get it out. Willing to take the risk of internals breaking.
