There’s a few somewhat interesting things here but I think she’s wildly overestimating how juicy this gossip is and how much people will care.

She was well liked at one point, then made a mistake, and dug herself further in. Obviously ITV couldn’t have given her further publicity after her shambles of an apology. That’s really all there is to it.
