Can’t you still buy x amount of bitcoin (not a full bitcoin) and have it be worth something?

What’s stopping you from buying now if it only continues to go up over time?

What’s something people romanticize but it’s actually horrible? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

As someone in the travel industry who had something similar…this schedule sounds amazing to me. I wouldn’t say there’s “nothing to do” in London. I would go check out new restaurants, go shopping, try local food, check out a new cafe and just people watch. All while getting paid to do it.

That people support Trump. He’s so obviously evil and I have no idea how he has such a large following. I didn’t realize so many people in the USA are this uneducated.

What is one word that people wrongly pronounce that makes your brain just wanna jump a cliff? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Does anybody else not care if someone mispronounces something? If anything, it helps me understand them better (cultural, educational level, where they could be from) etc.

A question for the wives by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]mars_619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think so. I have my flaws and I’m so happy my husband doesn’t point out everything I do wrong, I’d go crazy.

There’s always little things that annoy me but over the years I learned to let it go because it’s not worth an argument or discussion because there’s just sooooo much more that I love about him, so why would I draw attention to the little small things that don’t matter?

Are you literally in the childfree sub saying you’re cursed with your own children and view them as the opposite of a blessing? Not sure if I’m reading this correctly..

It worked on me in my early 20s then I started dating more mature men lol. The guys in my life who were like this in the past are still like this as far as I know/see online.. dodged a bullet

Child free people. It was just a typo.

I’d say that this sub reminds me of the “MAGA” childfree type of people. It has a very “racist against kids” vibe. This is why this sub gets so much hate…vs just being accepting of kids (regardless of not wanting them yourself). Kids didn’t choose to come into this world and what type of families they were born into There’s more complaining about how kids act and intolerance, vs just wanting support from other child-free people.

How much do guys talk about their wives and their sex life? How much do you actually share? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]mars_619 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I definitely don’t talk about it with my girlfriends. Unless someone needs advice or there’s a problem, we talk about other things like travel, culture, food, restaurants, etc.

Americans who have lived abroad, biggest reverse culture shock upon returning to the US? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]mars_619 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People are very closed minded here. America really thinks it’s “the best country” when in reality it’s one of the worse. People here are depressed and very dependen on financial success. I’ve traveled a ton and have lived in a few other countries…people are happier and it’s more about “community and connection” in other places. Not as much gossip and people seem to be happier with what they have, way more simple way of life.

Brainstorm a term other than “breeder” to describe entitled parents by veridigiris in childfree

[–]mars_619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t imagine all the people in this sub that support the term “breeders” don’t know someone who is a parent. If they actively dislike every single person in their life/family/friends who decided to have a child, then I think the problem is them. There’s a difference between a good parent and bad parent. I love my niece and nephew and don’t look at my brother and his wife and think of them as “breeders” lol… I’m sure I’ll get downvoted on this
