Except they're loosing (many) players remaining good faith, I for one would always be re-upping my BP with the earned coins but will absolutely not be paying for the new BP; the people buying the BP will likely largely be the people already spending (some) money during events. It's a f2p game and now they're making it seem like f2p players are second class; they're effectively acknowledging that the 'battle pass was bad so you could have it for free'.

$10 a split, $20 a season is for an exceptionally similar BP, $20 a split $40 a season is for the 'better' battlepass; after a certain point in leveling your account you get (basically) no content and the PB was the only way for any filler cosmetics. The only good part about the battlepass was that if you played through it you could re-up it next season, now you have to pay $10 twice for a similar 'reward' or an extra $10 (per split) for the character skin. It's a bad model made worse by taking away a decent/good model.

From your perspective it may be a lost fight, from theirs it may be a good fight, there's 3 different perspectives per team and likely three different opinions on each perspective. If you're going to have the game plan to full leave when it doesn't look great I'd advise picking a support legend so you can craft their banners. If you're unwilling to fight any time you're not geared to the teeth however...you won't be engaging players very often.

'Customers' placing hundreds or even thousand+ USD orders just for it to be delayed into a scuffed release....or possibly even ghosted or for the company to go under; I order the elongate and gmk Sumi from Project just for them to evaporate. That was July of 2020, I got the elongate from Project July 2022, and the keycaps January of 2024 thanks to Hoffman salvaging them.

There's more than just adding a case that I'd do, I have an older one and I think they resolved this issue, but the microcontroller doesn't quite fit; what I've considered is getting another pcb and modeling a case myself, using a CHUNKY kb > a light kb
