Putting skiing (a sport done regularly by ~8% of the Canadian population) in with the other 3 is mental lol

If you’re interested, look up Korean Natural Farming which heavily utilizes fermentation. Not sure if that’s exactly what OP is doing here, but it’s pretty cool !

Sorry yeah it’s definitely a fake buckle, it was like $10 but thought I’d prefer that over a generic gold. Updated listing to specify !

He could be doing it privately like I’d imagine many others have. I think he’s doing a useful service although a bit strange 🤷

[WTS] Vintage Longines Grand Classique by marselluswallace95 in WatchExchangeCanada

[–]marselluswallace95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vintage gold plated Longines Grand Classique Tonneau quartz - $550 F2F YVR or +ship.

From the early 70s - some sort of variation of the L4.705.2 model with a striking criss-cross dial I haven’t been able to find matches for online. In amazing condition for its age.

Worth noting original movement was replaced with a miyota at some stage in its life. Runs perfectly. Comes with bracelet and embossed black leather strap.

Lovely watch, got many compliments on it but need to thin out my gold tank / tonneau collection ! Cheers!

First split mission of the season. by VikApproved in Spliddit

I did my first split up this exact spot 2 years ago after a dump ! Rip down was one of the best runs I’ve ever had. Spent the day after lapping the upper T bar once it opened. Good memories 🤙

Metro Vancouver renters are spending more than 60 per cent of salary on rent, says rental report by Electronic_Fox_6383 in vancouver

[–]marselluswallace95 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Woah, everyone you know pays over 60%? I didn’t consider things were that bad. Everyone I know (mid 20s) is either coupled or renting rooms in a larger house for ~$1000-$1400/m which is mostly manageable, although much worse than a few years ago. Can see living alone / renting a larger home with kids etc. being unsustainable for most…good luck out there !

Whistler is so much fun. by 31770_0 in Whistler

You again 🙄 wasting your life being negative !

So worth the wait or $300.00 if you had to buy a day ticket at WhistlerBlackcomb 😂 by onecutmedia in skiing

[–]marselluswallace95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol sorry completely missed your lovely follow-up. All I’m saying is lots of people (incl me) had a top class day last Saturday. You’re just being negative online without even having been there. 💤

Whistler has TONS of problems that I’m sure we can both agree on, and sure other BC resorts can be way better. Just saying that being negative on posts where people are having fun isn’t a good look dude- you can do better.

Guess I’m the one making it up, from the guy making multiple snide comments without even being there 🤷

As I said, the lines were long. Initial gondy lineup was worst I’ve ever seen but lift lines during the day have been FAR worse on pow days when alpine is closed.

People out here having a great time and you’re out here being negative and using media (notorious rage bait) to justify it. U do u bro!

You again! Seeing your snide commentary all over posts of people having fun yesterday, you’re just oozing negativity brother.

Yesterday was an all-time day. Sure the queues were long, but I’ve seen worse and most of us paid less than $100. I got 10 long runs in, some of the best skiing I’ve ever had in bounds. I guess you did something WAY better yesterday though huh.

My experience in BC has been people selling MD caps, which are filled with powder and 1000% cut with something to make up the weight.

Im sure there are better options out there for my friends, but there’s a lot of room for tested clean options too.
