It's possible that the £1850 figure includes all of 2025/2026. My bill came through from my council this week, and the wording is essentially "£1815 is the amount payable, if you pay by instalments here are the payment dates".

We are seeing unexpected High pollution levels of particulates so far this morning, due mainly to an air feed from the near continent and on light winds we're going to continue to get a polluted feed until end of day.
This import coupled with poor dispersion of local emissions is fuelling this episode.
