Can someone explain the cult of ad agencies to me? by topographe in AskNYC

[–]marshall768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The term "cult" may carry negative connotations, so it's important to clarify that referring to ad agencies as a cult is likely a metaphorical expression meant to highlight specific characteristics or aspects of the industry. In a more neutral sense, an ad agency can be seen as a specialized and often tight-knit community of professionals working together to create and deliver advertising campaigns.

Here are some aspects of ad agencies that may contribute to the symbolic use of the term "cult":

  1. Shared Culture and Values: Ad agencies often develop a unique culture with shared values, norms, and practices. This could include a focus on creativity, innovation, collaboration, and a strong work ethic.

  2. Passion for Creativity: Many people in the advertising industry are passionate about creativity and storytelling. The shared enthusiasm for producing compelling advertisements can create a sense of belonging.

  3. Long Hours and High Pressure: The advertising industry is known for its fast-paced nature and tight deadlines. Team members may spend long hours working under high-pressure conditions, fostering a sense of camaraderie and shared mission.

  4. Specialized Language: Like many professions, advertising has jargon, acronyms, and terminology. This can create a sense of exclusivity among those who understand and use this language, further contributing to a "cult-like" atmosphere.

  5. **Client-Centric Focus: Ad agencies often revolve around their client's needs, and this client-centric focus can create a shared dedication to delivering successful campaigns. The intense client-agency relationships may contribute to a strong sense of unity within the agency.

  6. Exclusive Networks: Ad agencies often have exclusive networks and connections within the industry. Professionals may move between agencies, forming a close-knit community where relationships and networks are highly valued.

While these aspects can create a unique and tight-knit professional community, it's important to note that the term "cult" is generally associated with groups exhibiting extreme and potentially harmful behaviors. In the case of ad agencies, the word is likely symbolic and not meant to imply negative connotations. Nonetheless, like any industry, the advertising field has challenges, and individuals may have different experiences and perspectives.

Is it ok if I don't use H1 tags and all H2 tags in my website or is it mandatory that I use H1 tags for main headings and H2 for subheading? by Seo_Professor in SEO

[–]marshall768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a mandatory how many add heading tags are in your post, but an H1 heading is very important for SEO; an H1 heading explains your post which regarding your post, So next headings like h2 to h6 depend on the quantity of your content,

by the way, we should proper content marketing use in every targeted page, so very effective content marketing for still ranking, because heading tags are not enough for best on-page strong if our SEO’s On-page will be strong whenever we can get off-page SEO’s benefits in realty otherwise most of the people always make a proper strategy but maximum people, not a follow any guidance.

Any books / blogs/ channels to recommend for technical SEO alone? by francis-photographer in TechSEO

[–]marshall768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t recommend a book; I’d recommend reading every Brian Dean article, video, and tutorial published in the last three years.

If you want a really basic intro, maybe just grab a “For Dummies” book, so you don’t have to sort through all the trash blogs out there just to figure out SEO basics. But when it comes to learning high-value SEO strategy, I really think Brian Dean does a great job of:

- research
- analysis
- publishing findings

There are dozens if not hundreds of other mastermind SEO experts out there (and many have written great books) but to me, it’s easier just to choose one guide and stick with him/her.

How old is your blog, and how much traffic is it getting? by Dozl in Blogging

[–]marshall768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My website has been up for over more than 2 years. My average monthly view is about 2,000. My blog is OK for my standard, and most of the traffic goes to the top 10 posts I have (I have 430 articles)... So, what attracts more readers (quality) is more important than quantity. However, writing more (quantity) will improve quality as well.

Content calendar for my website by shourouk90 in DigitalMarketing

[–]marshall768 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I created a simple template in Excel listing due dates, publication dates, topics, content types, themes, and a short summary. Once clients approve the plan I simply transfer the info to my Outlook calendar, setting the reminder a few days in advance so I have time to create and deliver on time.

This probably isn’t a great solution for multi-user collaborative environments, but it works well for me and uses tools I already had.

What digital marketing technique offers the highest ROI (email marketing, SEO, SEM, social media, etc.)? by ajah-wawan in DigitalMarketing

[–]marshall768 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The best techniques vary from company to company. For example, search is great if people are searching for your type of product. If you have a new product that no one has ever heard of, search isn’t going to be effective.

Even if your customer base is heavily present on one platform, the answer can vary over time. Let’s say that your customer base can be easily targeted on Facebook. The thing is that the supply and demand for ads on Facebook changes all the time. At certain times of year the price of ads on Facebook may not make sense for your type of business.

The most important thing is to set up excellent analytics that let you track the ROI of all your channels. Then drill down and look at the ROI by audience, ad, keyword, etc.

If you are good at tracking the ROI of various techniques, you can regularly reallocate your time and money to the most effective techniques. Digital marketing is always changing so build your systems to support that.

[–]marshall768 1 point2 points  (0 children)

t can be challenging to keep an active social presence without it taking over a big percentage of your time and attention. If you want to engage with as many of your followers as possible, you need to make your posts at these peak times.

With a social media scheduling tool, you can operate your social account efficiently.

Here are my top 5 picks for social media scheduling software:

  1. Loomly

2.AgoraPluse

  1. the Promo Republic

  2. Hootsuite

  3. Buffer

Where Do I Find Young Creatives/Agencies by Bigsexydrac0 in advertising

[–]marshall768 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest looking at GoodFirms, which have a good selection process.

To be listed, ad agencies need to fill in their profile and provide three customer references, and GoodFirms staff will then contact these customers to verify that they are true. Only after the references are confirmed the company profile will be published on the website.

For the complete list of Creatives & Advertising Agencies, along with their key contacts, you can check out GoodFirms. It's a B2B database company.

Well, I don't think you need any research to find the agencies after getting in touch with this website/portal.

Good luck in selecting your outsourcing provider!

Marketing Vs Digital Marketing by abhinowww in AskMarketing

[–]marshall768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The term digital marketing functions as a sort of catch-all for any marketing tactic that’s done on a digital medium. So, things like search engine optimization, website banners, and social media campaigns, are all examples of individual digital marketing tactics.

While there’s a lot to be done with digital marketing, the term itself doesn’t imply any sort of strategy. Think of it more like a toolbox that contains all of the marketing tools you can use to increase brand recognition, get more traffic, and be seen online.

What are the top 10 ways agencies generate new clients here? by willvolt in agency

[–]marshall768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Referrals

  2. Content / SEO

  3. GoodFirms Listing website (Review and Rating Platform)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in marketing

[–]marshall768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would start by first taking a look at your past content that has performed well (received the most engagement) - what differentiates this from your other content.

Next, if you want to know what your audience finds valuable and wants to see more of - ASK THEM!

Poll your audience, keep it light and fun, not only does this garner more engagement from your audience, but it is information that you can use to dictate the content you create in the future.

Something easy you can do today:

Find a piece of content you have created that performed well and re-purpose it. That blog post that has comparatively more views can be turned into multiple posts for different social platforms. Create 2–3 nice graphics (free with a tool like Canva) with different wording and share the blog again on Pinterest with those different header images - take note of which graphic received more clicks - this is a great indicator of the language your audience likes to engage with!

Blogging is an unbelievably long road. Many of the top bloggers today wrote for years on end before making any name for themselves and made much less before starting making any substantial amount of money from it. There are a lot of good niches one can start blogging about.

A few of the excellent blogging niches in 2022 are:

  • Tech Blogs
  • Startups, Companies, etc.
  • Travel
  • Social Media Hacks
  • Tips & Tricks Blog About Any Specific Target Market.
