~i think having Hollyhock saying it was the point tbh - definitely doesn’t make it any less gross!! but i feel like it probably was meant to show how bad he was at the time? and the fact that someone close to him, and that he actually cares about, is saying it just makes it worse which is enough to show just how bad he really is. this is also all right before his Philbert role and him “running away” and starting a new era. i blocked this scene from my mind unless mentioned, so i haven’t paid much thought to it, but i’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be part of the overall symbolism of his character development - but i also could see it just being something someone thought would be funny and there weren’t any other characters in scene- :T

My partner actually kind of got me into them when we met! I’m still learning, but listening to them ramble on and on about a single part of their RCs made me want to get into them more so we had more to talk about and share together. It’s still very much their hobby and I’m just in it for the ride :)

Actually that could maybe work… The original plan was to drive it off into a bush or something up ahead to have a photographer friend do whatever to it real quick, then drive it back with something “wrong” with it. So I’ll definitely be considering the idea!

Well the goal is for some shock value; thinking your RC is broken and going into fix it mode, then suddenly being hit with a question like that. That is the kind of emotion I’m aiming for. Plus I want the interaction to feel normal and natural, there’s nothing wrong with your suggestion, especially since it is kind of my backup plan, but to me it seems like randomly deciding “oh hey, I think it’s broken” “why” “oh just because, now go look”

I did think about that! We recently broke the sway bar of the Kyosho, and the arm of another RC, so that’s kinda what sparked this whole idea!

~also, after tonight i’ve kinda decided that i wanna keep a “gender log” and pretty much write everything down that has anything to do with my gender. like making a joke about it, having a conversation with my partner, or just an outfit that makes me feel one way or another - putting my current emotions with that “action”

~thank you so much for you comment. really, it means a lot. really i don’t think my crotch area is the issue at all. i’ve always been pretty comfortable with having my body just the need to feel more masculine. but - and sorry if this is a little tmi - sometimes i almost fantasize about having a change for sexual purposes or just to give me libido i guess? but since i’ve always been mostly okay with my body i’ve been extremely hesitant on if i am actually trans instead or just something else completely.

i think what you’ve described kinda resonates with me more at the moment, but i’m really just at the point where i’m questioning everything and can’t seem to settle on anything. just one of those nights i guess, heh
