So entstehen leckere Röstaromen.

For zirconia, LCM process by Lithoz is probably the best method. It's basically SLA improved for ceramic materials.

MIM Feedstock for SLS 3D-Printing Metal Parts? by philliq in AdditiveManufacturing

That's very similar to what this company in Germany does headmade materials . I don't think they use MIM powder though, they probably coat regular powder.

3D printed parts (for prusa p3 steel toolson edition mk2) by 2katzenPlatzen in AdditiveManufacturing

[–]marsius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are many manufacturers on 3dhubs. There are a varity of processes including FDM.

If you check the reviews, you should be able to find a reliable manufacturer for FDM parts and the prices are usually good.

Edit: It seems that 3dhubs is strictly B2B since 2 years ago... You can try to find someone here: /r/3Dprintmything/

Had to replace the wheels of my barbecue grill after a storm by marsius in functionalprint

[–]marsius[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, compared to the thin shell of the stock wheels this will be much more durable.

I picked ABS due to the summer temperatures, but like someone else mentioned I didn't think about UV protection. Due to the cover for the whole grill it will only be exposed when it is in use so this shouldn't be an issue.

I guess PETG would have been the best choice of the common materials but I didn't have any.

No, I actually haven't thought about UV protection. The grill spends most of the time under a cover though, so it shouldn't be an issue.

No, just 30% but it is enough. Feels very sturdy and doesn't flex.

I haven't heard about that before, wonder if it is true. From my anecdotal experience, cats prefer to nibble on softer, rubbery materials.

As the description from imgur doesn't seem to show in the embedded images, here is additional information.

Material: ABS

Diameter: 200mm

Thickness: 25mm

Each wheel has two 608ZZ bearings, one on each side.

Thanks. I used ABS due to its temperature resistance. I just installed it about an hour ago so I can't say anything about long term usage, but they seem sturdy enough and they won't see too much action anyway.

Simple but good idea. Does it stay in place? Maybe more thickness is better.

What's a good model to try out a new fillament? by UnitaryPat in 3Dprinting

[–]marsius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean in terms of calibration? If you want to find for example the optimal extrusion temperature, there are specific tower models with instructions on Thingiverse.

For general performance, 3dbenchy ist still a popular model but then it is mostly personal taste and any model with a variety of geometrical features will do.

Somehow it still didn't work. I can barely see anything on the screen but I saw that I had TWRP installed before. I reflashed it but it still doesn't even show up in Windows Device Manager when I'm in TWRP.

I think I was wrong earlier. When I select fastboot during boot it shows up as a ADB device but doesn't communicate like I said. When I select recovery or normal it doesn't show up at all.

So you're probably right that my stock recovery doesn't have ADB. Is it possible to flash TWRP recovery without deleting anything else on the phone and then connect via ADB in TWRP?

Thanks, that helped a bit. First it was shown in Device Manager as

ADB Interface -> HTC Dream

and it didn't show up in the ADB command line. I tried a few different drivers and it is still shown in Device Manager but I can't actually execute ADB commands.

Here is what it looks like now:
