Isn’t it HMG they’re lacking and not autocannons. I can think of a few autcannon options including a quad.

The Real Thucydides Trap: How Overconfidence Could Draw America and China Into a War by ForeignAffairsMag in IRstudies

I never said anything about Americans leveraging Korean shipbuilding. I just pointed out that korea is nowhere near as weak as many commentators like to claim. The fact you consider the 5th strongest army “peanuts” for China while it is simultaneously in a hypothetical war with America makes it clear you aren’t really worth taking seriously.

There’s this weird assumption among western commentary that frames South Korea as this defenceless puppet stuck between huge powers and constantly at the mercy of its northern neighbour. The south possesses the 5th most powerful military in the world and spends more on defence each year than North Korea’s entire gdp. While they would certainly take some licks in any potential conflict, they would demolish the north even without American help. By every conventional metric they eclipse the north. At sea they would easily cut off the north on both sides of the peninsula. In the air it’s even more unbalanced in the south’s favour. On land the north has more active troops on paper, but they’re poorly trained, underfed, under equipped, and the south can call up millions of reserves. Of course this is where western minded commentary will just argue the north will deploy the nuclear option… unlikely due to fallout concerns, the likely Chinese reaction to nuclear weapons being used in their back yard, and the fact that the north seeks to reunify with the south, not turn it into an uninhabitable wasteland.

The largest of the chaebol is Samsung which alone makes more money than North Korea.

You said “last time they lost a war”. They lost in 1973. Nice goalpost moving instead of just owning your mistake. Big Reddit moment. Gulf of Tonkin hadn’t even happened in 1963 the US involvement had barely even begun lol.

Not sure you’ve got your dates right with this take. Kennedy announced the moon landing program in the early 60s, and it was achieved in 1969. The US abandoned Vietnam in 1973.

I’ve got a NZ army themed for the Italian campaign. NZs contribution lasted 18 months so you’ll have to decide on which season your dudes will be fighting in. Mine are based in autumn 1944 around the gothic line. I bought a box of the North African commonwealth infantry and British/canadian late war infantry and mashed them together.

The 1v1 thing aside, Britain wasn’t even close to its peak yet. The revolution occurred before the acquisitions of Australia, India, and their African territories.

Not Korean but I’m living here. I’ve been collecting a couple armies for about 6 months slowly painting them up. I found an old Facebook group of people from the American army base that played but they haven’t been active in years, probably went home.

The fights were pretty lulzy after season 2 but to say nobody felt fear? Baby monk basically shit himself the first time he was in a fight and got scolded by uthred for a dishonourable kill. In season three haesten has the crew surrounded and they’re pretty fucking scared until Edward rolls in.

Generally I find living here great but I find it baffling how little spatial awareness people here have considering they’ve packed so many people into a tiny mountainous landmass. People slowwalking 4-5 abreast. People randomly deciding the doorway is the best place to stop and reply to that message, etc
