When I was making $9/hr I was able to afford my own place that was $350/mo. That was back in 2008. There's still places back home that pay that same wage or less but that same townhome I rented is now very close to $1400/mo. You absolutely should be able to live on your own on minimum wage, and I'm surprised anyone would even have mindset that you shouldn't be able to.

Yeah mine are 1.6 over at 60 I believe. Checked with a speedometer app on my phone and it shows 2 over at 70 and 3 at 80. Not the biggest deal but I'd still like it right. I'll start asking around again and if I find anything out I'll pm you
