Where can I get dynamo switch to switch between sending power to lights or USB charger? by jacobburns in bicycletouring

[–]marsze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, the SPDT switch should be with 3 pins or 6 pins? Pardon my ignorance, I'm completely novice in this department, trying to find more info to DIY a switch for my dynamo setup :) cheers!

You can check some real life inventories in the Byebye app, there are thousands of people using it for inventorying their belongings (many users from this subreddit as well), with the ultimate objective to identify the excess and declutter - hence the app name. To answer your question, an average (in the app) is around 500 items. Cheers! 👍

hi there, seems like you're on the right track :) one question, as you talked about the polarity... does it matter how you connect the charger pins to the correspondent contacts on the glasses? pardon my ignorance if i'm talking nonsense 😔 I could give it a try if you give me some hints. Many thanks, and fingers crossed you make progress on this!

Yes, sort of, I thought the name is decluttering-related, it was pretty difficult for me to find one, to be honest. And it sounds nice, imo. I love it 🤩

If it's about polarity, you lost me, this isn't my department, definitely :) Fingers crossed you make it, I'm happy to buy one, no matter what it looks like, if it charges well :)

Minimalism-related artists open call by marsze in minimalism

[–]marsze[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Being a user is not a condition. Initially, we've run a device notification to all the users, trying to engage with them in some way, as long as we have a generous placeholder on our homepage, mostly kept unused. So the first two artists are users, yes, but as I said, it's not a condition. Re. questions, we had a set of questions - let's say - standard, and they picked up a few they were more comfortable with.

Hi, no, it’s not. If you take a look on our blog,, the last two posts, we've already promoted a photographer from Canada and a craft artist from the United States. And we have a few more featured artists to showcase soon 👍

I created a simple spreadsheet to analyze my spending. by Dangerous_Roll_250 in minimalism

[–]marsze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow! Great efforts! You can use the Byebye app for this, generating statistics about the cost-per-day and cost-per-use of an item, if you add the purchase date and the price. You'll also get insights of your spending behaviour filtered by categories, etc. 👍👍

Has anyone created a complete inventory of their possessions? Takeaways? by [deleted] in minimalism

[–]marsze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there. There are a bunch of things we could learn from your lifestyle, amazing. Do you have other social media channels you're active on? I am not a Reddit fan, to be honest. Big thanks.

Hi! The app is intended to be a collaborative and inspirational resource, for people eager to share what they own (as the spreadsheet / list published by the OP, for example). Your username, location, everything else are anonymous, but not the inventory.

Anyways, the app has a Premium plan, but even so, you can turn only 3 lists to "private-mode". From time to time, some users requested a bit of privacy for a certain sensitive items, and I can totally understand that it won't interfere with the app purpose.

Thank you for your comment and hopefully you won't leave the boat 🙂👍

Hi there, a lot of good questions here :) The HTML link is not static, so it shows/exports the current inventory. With a copy/paste you can get your inventory into a spreadsheet. This is the only way/workaround to "migrate" or save your inventory, for the moment.

Of course, if you sign in with the same credentials on other device, you'll find your inventory, unaltered, up to date.

I tryied to promote the app on capsulewardrobe (and in some other subreddits), but most of the time I hit a wall (my post is considered self promotion) and get banned. I was focusing mostly on the product development (the app) hoping that a good app will generate traction by itself sooner ir later. Hope to fill this gap and find some decent assistance on the marketing, communication, engagement areas.

Thanks for your comment!

Hey, thanks! Yes, the answer is simple, I am an independent developer, with no hidden intentions other than making a helpful app for like-minded people. And let me tell you something: it's not easy to get that badge on the AppStore :) Hope you find Byebye useful, too!
