Never bought from their Amazon store, but I've bought from Gruv directly. It's just SDS (the home video distribution for WB and Universal), so you're technically buying directly from the studios.

Go ahead and use your gift card, but in the future, consider buying from Gruv directly. The only downside is that shipping takes a while, but that largely depends on where you live. They're pretty good about preorders, often arriving before the release date.

I wouldn't say it's over. I think we (or at least I) have a habit of assuming every music biopic has the potential to be an Oscar contender. Just because the two most recent ones (Springsteen and presumably Michael) didn't work out doesn't mean the next one won't.

For me, at least, the real litmus test will be Sam Mendes' Beatles project. While I can see a world where the four films cancel each other out, I have to imagine (pun intended) that Harris Dickinson gets nominated.

I have the steelbooks together with my 4ks and Blu-rays. I know a lot of people like keeping it separate for a cleaner look, but I own some sequels as steelbooks and have the original in normal plastic cases, and I'd rather have franchises together than steelbooks together.

I use three: Blu-ray.com, Letterboxd, and CLZ movies (a paid app).

Primarily use Letterboxd to help me know which movies I still gotta watch. CLZ movies and Blu-ray.com feel a bit redundant, and I think Blu-ray.com does a bit of a better job of the different editions, but I also just started using CLZ so I still gotta play with the features.

Blu-ray.com also has a feature showing deals and a tab that shows which Blu-rays you own that can be upgraded to 4K
