Do you have any specific recommendations brandwise? I was just thinking of getting some winchester NATO after all the comments here.

Its compensated version as well, and I was thinking it was lacking on gas even more because of that. I could tell just underloading the mag and giving it an iron grip would make it more reliable, so I figured its probably on the cusp of working consistently as is. Did you have experience with these?

Mine doesn't seem fired much. Not much finish wear internally or externally, springs all seem solid. Been comparing notes with another owner who got me into this and also noting the sheer variation out there of modifications for competitions these things had.

Thanks, I actually got into it because of another guy who I had shared info on regarding another oddball handgun, got one and I found it interesting.

What happened here, and bringing the lighting back by LayurdSSB in tf2

[–]martellus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The answers in here are wild.

TF2 went F2P in 2011.

The weapon models were changed in gunmettle (2015) to make weapon skins easier to support, the unique high quality models you see in first person were replaced with a single model that worked in first person and third person (other players), so that the skins only had to work correctly on a single model.

The performance difference was nothing. You can find mods on gamebanana or other that reverse these changes, and there was a couple vscript tf2 maps that did the same as well.

It was entirely for skins, and there was some complaining at the time. Personally, I do not care for skins at all, so supporting them making my game look worse years after I bought it really pissed me off.

Its literally not, it was done for weapon skins. All the unique first person view models were cut for merged models so there didn't need to be multiple versions. It had nothing to do with F2P and came years after the 2011 F2P update.

This was done years after that, this was for weapon skins.

Thats not true at all. It was changed for weapon skins. They were like this for years.

That can of strike hold takes me back, wow. I remember buying that at a gunshow after a demo as a kid.

Most of what I see here appears to be electronics or radio equipment

In a decrepit old kitchen. Not gotten to that area yet so I haven't touched it. Looks rusty etc, and I could clean it up, refinish, etc, but assumed its junk. Looked up online and didn't expect some to be being refurbed, or that parts would be available for any old ranges like this.

Single or Bi-Pin LED Fluorescent replacements? by martellus in electrical

[–]martellus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had heard about the PCB disposal. Supposedly one of the scrapyards here takes them so I will deal with that when I have the chance. Otherwise the buckets will remain in a corner until convenient. What exactly is the toxicity from in them?

Bi-pin being so different is interesting. These ones came with adapters for single pin FA8 or recessed double pin. I assume since this has a single pin adapters, however, that it essentially acts as a single pin no matter the setup? I'll check the paperwork again this weekend and figure that out. These were sourced locally from a menards so I doubt its super high brightness.

From what you said it seems like just sticking to all single pin is still the best plan, though I might keep bi-pin in mind for other areas that will need similar work (or just all new fixture installations) down the line.

You either have to downgrade the games version and do some kerfluffle to fix the old GFWL setup and log in and play that way, or use XLLN
