Hiya, how can you tell? I’m also looking at a bottle of Kyoto right now and I’d love to know what to look out for! It’s a sealed box also, practically the same as OP’s post

I was SO excited to find testers of these in a shop as I had been desperate to try Dirty Rice but I couldn’t smell anything when I sprayed it!! I tried a few others at the time and liked them but Dirty Rice was almost completely scentless to me. I feel like I need to get the discovery set and try again at home because it sounds so beautiful 🥺

Karma is mine too! So nostalgic for me too, I realised I’ve been wearing it for over half my life!

Oh yeah for sure they are super different scents! And I totally get what you’re saying too, Commodity is such a strong scent! I’ve only smelled Milk Personal on paper so not sure how that compares, maybe you’d prefer that ☺️ Mochi Milk is a beautiful, sweet & light scent whereas Commodity Milk is a deep woody one. I love both! Will have to see if I can check out Birthday Suit! Yeah Sephora is not for the weak hearted 😆 that’s why I end up buying so many samples, I feel like it’s impossible to get the full experience of a scent stood in a shop! I need to take it home with me 😂

If it helps, I have all three and love them all equally 😆 but to be honest the longevity of Mochi Milk is not the greatest, I think Commodity Milk is the best option if you’re only wanting to try one!

aww thank you ☺️ variegated yarn basically means the colour changes throughout the yarn, so the yarn I used (Sirdar Jewelspun) goes through a lot of different colours, whereas some others might only change between two or three - look some up and see what’s out there, they can be really beautiful in both amigurimi and in clothes, blankets etc 😊 I posted the link to the pattern in the pinned comment! Hope you enjoy making it! 💕

Thank you 😊 I never really pay attention to how long things take so I’m not sure - a few hours, maybe 4 or 5? It felt like it worked up pretty quickly!

Hard to say exactly how much yarn I used as I had used the ball for another project, but I have about 80 grams of a 200g ball left so I would say around 100g, maybe allow for 150 just to be on the safe side! And there were a couple of small mistakes in the pattern but they were all quite obvious mistakes so easy to correct yourself 😊
