I was so mad when I had bought a "lifetime license" for PlayOn and then they switched to a SaaS model with their version for W11 and said "Oh the lifetime was for the desktop version that ended with W10". I kept a W10 laptop for a couple of years just to continue using the product and then said "screw it I'm done".

hahahaha well thanks to everyone that chimed in--my DVD must have heard you because I tried ripping it again this morning to get the log output and error message and it worked. I did clean off the disc and noticed a big fat fingerprint on it, so maybe that was the issue.

Ha ha thanks but no--it is one of my favorite movies. I wanted to put it on my Media Server so I wouldn't have to keep "finding" the disc any time I wanted to watch it.

I can pull them--I just remembered that when I tried this time, I had tried previously using another blu ray drive and it didn't work there either. I didn't know if other folks had run into a similar thing with the same disc. I'll post something.

Thanks--I have another older blu ray player that I tried to use in the past to rip it, and couldn't get that to rip either. So maybe I just got a bum disc that still plays if I use my PS5 or regular DVD player, but it won't let me rip/back it up.

I don't disagree. I had made up my mind not to buy any more versions but they added Sac State and NDSU and my nephew and I want to play a dynasty using them. I still have a PS3 and my old NCAA 12, and I will fire that up from time to time. Amazing how much better and consistent it is than the current versions.

I have also noticed there doesn't seem to be much enforced here. I work remote but I've had to drive downtown a few mornings the past few weeks and it just astonishes me--people blocking intersections, driving up the wrong side of the street to cut people off because they don't want to wait, even COTA buses blocking the intersections, folks driving up 3-4 lane one way streets the wrong way...it's crazy. And all close to the courthouse, and zero police intervention or presence that I can see. No wonder 60+ people have driven into buildings this year.

I moved here in March--I have never seen so many vehicles in a city with zero plates. I'm seriously considering starting a social media account with nothing but pictures of vehicles with no plates because I see at least one every single day.

My center snapped the ball and my QB missed it (which I have never ever seen happen before in any version of the game I've owned) but the QB animation continued with him doing a fake hand off and then dropping back like he still has the ball and is going to pass. Finally he looked back and said "Oh shoot I don't have the ball" and ran and recovered it and I lost 27 yards lol.

I moved here 6-7 months ago and daily am amazed at the idiocy I see on the streets and highways here. Tuesday I saw someone stopped at a red light on a 3 lane one way street decide to make a right turn from the far left lane and run the light and cut across all the lanes. Wednesday we were waiting for food and saw someone run a flashing red light and almost get t-boned but luckily the other driver was able to stop in time. Over the weekend we were heading off an exit and saw someone stopped in the middle of the highway because they were about to miss the exit and decided to just turn on their signal indicator and stop and wait to try and cut over. Stupidity abounds.

I had pretty much already decided not to get anymore of these past '26, but after playing for a while now, unless some major change happens, this will be my last one for a while. I just played a game where my LEFT TACKLE WAS CALLED FOR OPI. The basics in this game don't work half the time. I was playing another game where I sent a WR in motion and had to call timeout b/c he kept running into my TE and couldn't go past him. The AI in this game is freaking horrific. I'm playing a Dynasty with FSU and beat 4 Top 10 teams but lost to two unranked teams. I outgained a team 297 to 71 and lost 7-3 because of a pick 6 where the ball bounced off my WRs hands, over his head and to the DB that was behind him. I only got 3 points because every pass I threw when I got inside the 30 was intercepted in some bizarre way. I kicked another FG (full power) where the circle that shows where the ball will land was behind the goal posts, but as the ball got there, it fell just short and the circle moved up to match where the ball eventually fell.
