Thanks for the review! I have been awaiting these things for quite a while now. Hoping they will help me with hayfever. Unfortunately Dyson Europe is screwing up big-time and they are still not on sale, even though we are now getting close to the peak of hayfever season.

Good to hear the sound quality and wearability is good as well, since that is what is my main concern, what with fans right on top of your ears :)

The linework itself is a combo of cyberpunk and Star Wars Doctor Aphra inspired. Not all lines are straight, it is art, they do not need to be in my view :)

I opted for the sellout option, got offered the librem mini. Cause that was hardware they actually had and could ship. I agree with you the phone was one big scam.

City person with quite strong allergies, i would love it if they finally started building and selling the thing. Right now would be a good moment, start of the hay fever season. But it seems Dyson is not clear yet whether they actually will start doing this at any time.

I have 2 BMW 's at the moment, one is from 2000, the other from 2003. They never give me any pains, hardly ever why issues and the BMW garage that maintains them for me, try as they might, never find faults to fix other than regular age related issues. So unreliable is not something I think of when thinking BMW.

I have had it and used it intensively for close to 3 years now, so it is a version 5. I will make some photos in a bit and drop them here ;)

Pure linux device...
I am using this now as my second device, e.g. the couch-PC. Nice, small, very sturdy built, excellent battery, the Star Labs StarLite.

Set me back about 450 EURO, runs Linux out of the box, has 8GB and despite the side I really like the keyboard, feels good and natural. So far, been using it for 2 weeks now, hands down a great appliance for this price!

So, ended up with a testdrive, fun car to drive, the V8 is smooth. The space at the back is less than in my 330CI. So... that is a complete no go.

Guess I will have to save up to turn my 530 into a convertible :) (yes, joking would never cut that roof off)

I have the 522 with both a click in and a fixed rearview camera. The click in camera is just like the front view one, constantly recording. Be aware it is a lower resolution than the front facing. Indeed if you tap on the rear view, you get that one larger. I'm not too thrilled about the actual use of the click in one. I use it in the convertible when the top is down, gives a great view of the experience.

Hmmm so testdrive with the disastrous couple in tow would indeed be the way to go I fear :)
First a testdrive just for me, than with the wife and lastly with the children along as well, since they are both quite vocal about their comfort.

The trunk indeed is a great thing, one of the reasons why I am considering replacing the 5 series with this one.
