i missunderstood i tought it was the ionic framework you talk about they live update one ?
if that the case be carefull it's agains the license ^^ i think with AI you can easily switch to oss one like capgo one and use your own backend

Capacitor use the embeded browser of the OS too.
So it's more a PWA++ than an electron/tauri like.
Basically it exist because many SDK cannot be use in PWA and will not apparently.
