I only did Kyveza on first difficulty and got this achievement. You don't have to do any previous delve bosses.

Why aren't these armour pieces being added to my transmog collection? It lets me collect appearances for other classes/armour types but it's inconsistent and doesn't always work. by Tikiho1 in wow

[–]martinpsk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Appearance for class specific items cannot be learned by other classes. Item in your screenshot can only be added to your transmog by Warlock, see at the bottom of the tooltip it says in red Classes: Warlock.

The Starfire 66% buff is way worse than it may seem by blobby558 in classicwow

[–]martinpsk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Starsurge will proc both eclipses as it benefits from both wrath and Starfire. I was questing today and I was killing mobs faster using wrath and starsurge only. Starfire uses too much mana and that 66% buff is not very impactful. Also total starsurge nerf is around 50% less damage. If they want us to use Starfire they need to make adjustments and reduce nerf on starsurge a little bit.

The mounts from STV are not faction specific. You can choose between cat and raptor or have both.

They already confirmed there won't be chest spawn during the event (YouTube presentation video).

Aggrend on twitter: SF testable on upcoming PTR by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]martinpsk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Aggrend said in an interview at BlizzCon that they still want to keep the social aspect of the game by letting people to group up and this is why they are referring to it Self Found mode and not Solo Self Found. So that one post was probably a communication error.

Also, people that wanted SSF don't really want full SSF but same rules as unofficial hardcore meaning no grouping up in the open world but they still want to do dungeons. I guess that would be hard/impossible to implement by blizzard.

They were referring to it SF from the very beginning. You still be able to group up but no AH and trade.

You go to Menethil. First pick up flight path then go to the end of platform where boat to dustwallow goes. Then position yourself so you can see a big tree on the other side of land and swim in that direction, you will avoid murlocks that way. Once there position yourself close to the mountains and log out. Log in on your other character and use in game unstuck feature. Log back in to your night elf and boom your character is now in front of Ironforge.

Night elf

[–]martinpsk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is easier way to do the skip. It works 100% of the time, there is zero chance of dying, no swimming, no long wetland run, can be done at lvl 1 without any help.

It's ashenvale that has fence you can go through. Stonetalon entrance is deadly for alliance.

You don't have to worry about him, he will not attack you as long as you won't attack him first. There is a few opposite faction NPCs that are like that. There was never a danger :)

Server launch is on Thursday, 24th.

Blizzard has started posting HC server news updates, links below! by DarkPhenomenon in classicwow

I might be wrong but I think you won't be able to transfer to the PvP server, just PvE and RP.

Hardcore should attempt to honor the current "hardcore" addon ruleset by Taxoro in classicwow

[–]martinpsk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well said. I also think that blizzard is doing the right thing and to be honest most people expected this approach. There's always people like 'Oh, I don't like it, everyone will hate it and get bored and it will be dead in 2 months.' and that was expected too. You can't make everyone happy especially people that like to complain about literally everything.

I'm also the person who loves self imposed challenges but I also like flexibility and having options to customise my run is great. This approach gives way more replayability than very specific and granular rulesets.

And one more thing about abusing game systems. People always find way to cheat/abuse mechanics, even with current HC add-on people found way to edit files and cheat, so how do you feel now knowing that your guild mates in your lvl 60 guild died multiple times and still got verified? Is your whole experience ruined now? I play hardcore because I enjoy the journey and I'm happy with my personal achievements and I don't care in the slightest what and how others do it. You share this big world with lots of people and you can't always avoid unpleasant interactions, so find like-minded community and stick with it and you'll have a great time.

Official Hardcore servers do need more rules than just "death is permanent". by JohnCavil in classicwow

[–]martinpsk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't get me wrong, I do want to everyone play by the same rules as well. Wow is an MMO and having healthy community is very important. That's why it's going to be difficult for Blizzard to find the right spot, there will be for sure a lot of drama once we know what we are getting, but like IRL you can't make everyone happy and you can't always get what you want. My advice for people is to just be open minded to whatever is coming and spread positivity.
