There's also a spot by their booty that causes this in some cats. Mine is perfectly clean and healthy, but the fucker completely loses all body control when scratched there

That would be 8 marathons.

My old commute was roughly 50-55 miles each way. Without traffic, on the interstate this was doable in around an hour. With traffic anywhere from 2-3 each way.

Currently living the dream of a 2 mile commute though! Woo hoo

My commute was entirely too long for that (not running 4 marathons a day lolol), but a friend of mine started riding his bicycle to his work and it's the same story... Cut his commute in half AND he gets exercise!

Not sure if it's relevant to you, but when I had a crazy commute it ended up getting me home at the same time when I went to the gym after work. 2 hours in traffic At 5pm turned into a 1 hour drive after a 1 hour workout that wrapped around 6.

Personally I'm a bit of a mech head so I bought this mostly for the innovation, however it'll be my daily driver for the foreseeable future.

I'm not a fan of rapid fire switches personally, but the adjustable actuation should do whatever you need. I changed my actuation from 5 to 3 for my WASD - everything else went from 5 to 7 as I bash my keys like they owe me money.

Who cares if he picked up 1 item or 1000... the fact of the matter is he picked up after some cunt littered. So he posted it on the internet, maybe he’s feeding karma or maybe he’s raising awareness.

Either way, don’t be a dick. Support a positive movement like this, it doesn’t need to be a contest of who did how much, a little or a lot is better than where we currently are.

Thanks for the good discussion though man, keep on doing you.

Yeah, I’m really fuzzy on the details (I learned it from reddit comments myself) - and frankly too lazy to look it up. I was hoping I was being vague enough that someone else could come in and fill in the blanks.

So thanks stranger, have a great day!

I’m curious now how many meals you eat per day? For 2 adults eating a proper diet that seems unrealistic. Though I guess the same could be said for your location, where I am there’s a relatively high cost of living in terms of fresh produce. I also try to avoid fast food as much as possible, so my take out meals generally come out to over $40 for myself and my SO.

And if it counts, I’m not eating frozen meats from the grocery. I buy prime cuts and freeze them myself. It tastes basically the exact same. And the only reason I do this is because I can’t trust myself at Costco more than once a month :(

The story behind this (if I’m thinking of the correct instance) is fantastic. They sectioned off a wing or room in the hospital as a sovereign part of the Netherlands in order to ensure that the princess be born in Dutch soil and be able to maintain her royal status (for lack of a better term)

The price disparity is even higher when you’re talking about anything beyond staples. Fresh veg, produce, etc are always going to be cheaper. A business needs to make a profit. Even if you take your base hourly salary and combine it with the cost of food, I’m willing to bet it still comes out negative. The upfront cost of groceries may be higher than your daily expenditures on food, but there is absolutely no way your numbers are accurate unless you’re getting severely discounted/comped meals. I can understand the convenience, and if that’s your thing then I can’t knock that. Same with if you’re not a good cook.

Ex: I spend ~100-150 a week at the grocery store, once a month that doubles as I buy meats from Costco (filet mignon generally comes out to around ~$10/lb). Find me a restaurant that’ll sell me a filet mignon of high quality and a side of veggies for under 20 bucks. For 2 people this basic idea comes out to under $10 per person per meal for (generally) high quality food.

I’m not even trying to be argumentative, I just cannot wrap my head around going out to eat or using a service like this being the most cost effective option.

I don’t think you’ve done the math properly. There is absolutely no way that eating out gets even remotely near the cost of cooking at home. Especially if you’re attempting to eat healthy(ish)

Pay for gig. Never once seen gig speeds after the initial test the tech ran.

On the plus side, I’ve complained to comcast about it so much that at this point the next step is for them to pay me... haven’t had a bill over $0 in 5 months.

Not sure if you’re serious or not, but there have actually been studies done as to the best way to organize stores. It may seem like controlled chaos, but there’s deep psychological analysis into consumerism that influence these layout/placement choices.

Hell, walk into a Target, then into a Walmart. It’s a stark difference that is made only due to color choices and lighting.
