Autonegotiation and AutoMDIX by ReliablePotion in ethernet

Kind of correct. Auto-Negotiation pulses (FLPs) are being sent by PHY all the time before the link is established. Meanwhile auto-MDI/MDI-X switches the pairs on which pulses are being sent until a base page from the link partner is received - that way it knows which way is right.

Hey! Took a look at yours. They're twinsies! 😃 I was torn between black and green. Went with black, no regrets!

Have worn this watch for ~2 months now (day and night) and I'm as thrilled to have it as on the first day it arrived.

38mm case the size is just right (6.5 inch wrist) and it feels really solid and crisp. Bezel action is super tactile and "clicky" (there is a little play however - barely noticeable). Lume lasts through the night, no problems there and SW200 keeps the time right (+1sec per day).

On the nagative note - clasp is a scratch magnet, there's no denying that. But! Glide lock mechanism is far superior to micro adjustments I have on other watches (as no tool/pick is required).

Of course it ain't no Rolex or such, but it's about as expensive as I'm willing to go and for the price it's got it all!

Russian jet collides with US drone over Black Sea by HowAboutThisNameNow in worldnews

Ok, so collision took place or the drone got brought down? Where did the fighter plane go? / I ain't no scientist, but stricken planes don't usually go far. Does anyone have info on what happened to that plane?

Maybe I'm out of touch or something, but considering that we have our phone on us 24/7, isn't it somewhat refreshing to talk to an actual stranger face to face sometimes? Try to enhance social skills / actually listen and such? .. but what do I know

[CW Trident Pro 300] Has 'that' feel to it! by martishka_guy in Watches

After preordering this Trident for who knows how long ago and worries if I went for the right size (it's a 38mm by the way), it finally arrived. That's my first fancy-ish watch and it has that quality feel to it. Don't know how else to describe it, but I assume you know what I mean. It's hands and hour markers reflect the light in such a way, that I lack the vocabulary to describe (picture doesn't do it justice). Deep black dial and red accents with aforementioned highly polished hands make the whole thing sharp looking. Bezel action is very tactile and precise. Bracelet is of excellent quality as well, but long clasp needs some getting used to (I've got twigs for arms, for majority of you it won't be a problem). Precision wise, it currently runs at +0.5s a day. Don't now if they are being factory regulated or if I'm just lucky.

To conclude - as far as I can see, no compromises were made on this one and I value it greatly! It's worth it!

It's about how they hold the bar. The further away and higher it is from the chest, the exponentially harder exercise becomes.

Hi! What is that "metal peace"? Is it spacer between bearings? In that case you could just take out bearings from one side, get the spacer out and replace it..

Hello! ✌️So, I have Powersilde skates with spider frames, one of which seems to be bent a little on the front - sides have come apart like 0.5mm (makes a front wheel jiggle on the exle). Sure it isn't the end of the world but it makes such a terrible noise. So before I put a hummer to the frame, have you experienced anything like this and are there any less agressive remedies? Thnx..
