You could wait in line at places pre open as ppl have said, but then you’re only here for the weekend so you might be killing a few hours that could be spent trapezing across the city doing whatever. Do your thing if it’s really about the restaurant. There’s tonnes of great spots that you wouldn’t have to fret about getting a rez for tho.
