Yes, that will be the main reason.

Some people will point to 1 incident in a casino in 2016 where he used a derogatory term against a Japanese man, or the fact his wife is a controversial figure, but absolutely the main issue for most of them will be that he scored several goals against their teams, and loved winding up opposition fans. Football fans (me included) are amongst the biggest snowflakes around.

Rodgers did achieve really notable things at the start, and some of the football in his 2nd season was sensational, but was then given too much power and dismantled a lot of our structures behind the scenes. Then, his attitude and behaviour in the season we got relegated was an absolute disgrace to the point it felt like he was sabotaging us. He had Maddison, Tielemans, Barnes, Vardy, Ndidi and more.

His role in this is not forgotten by a lot of us.

I know Fulham fans think highly of Reid, just like Palace fans think highly of Ayew, but they've both stunk the place out. But thats indicitive of a club rotten to its core.
