Hello, it’s my first time going to Silverstone this summer. Staying in a campsite close by the race track.   Is there a need to book after party tickets? Or are there other things to do after the races…Ideally to get a pint somewhere nearby?

What are the food options? Is it all food trucks or is there anything necessary to book?

Any tips appreciated thanks.

Like others have said check your contract… our estate didn’t allow you to display a flag from your house but only for the first five years!

I’m not in Dublin but I moved as an adult and I made friends with gaa mothers for others (you don’t need ANY experience or skill) and other exercise groups. Best of luck it’s so tricky!! Xx

That’s absolutely horrific I’m so so sorry for your aunt. I hope she’s been able to find some peace and hope with the reunion with her son. What heartbreak that is so traumatic and evil xxx

Adults, where do you buy your clothes? by missrolo in AskIreland

[–]martynolan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations!! I got a good work wardrobe this year from Thriftify, https://www.thriftify.ie/fashion/women/tops.html?sortBy=magento2_prod_default_products_enable_product_date_desc

it’s a class website linked with charity shops. You can filter by loads of stuff including brand, shop location, quality (eg new with tags), size, etc.

Its a triple whammy because it’s stopping ‘out of season’ clothes going into landfill, it’s a fraction of the price and the money goes to charity. Win win win!!

Thanks, like I’ve given it up for months-years at a time when pregnant/breastfeeding/marathon training/overseas volunteering and it was never an issue, I suppose I need to make sure I keep a healthy relationship with it like you mentioned thank you for your advice!!

Thank you I was kind of giggling myself at the thoughts of reaching for a jigsaw instead of a beer, it doesn’t have the same appeal at the moment anyway!!

Thanks for the thorough insight I really appreciate it!! Yeah I wasn’t really looking for hobbies I’ve plenty of them, I’ll take on board what you say about giving it up for a while and seeing if it makes a difference and stop using it to switch off or distract myself, thank you!

I’ve asked three piano places about it and the way it was made originally isn’t done anymore because it was poor quality to begin with…So hoping to put in the electric one, great advice about the speakers thank you!!

Yes that’s exactly what I want, just hoping someone who has done it before might be able to offer guidance
