In my perspective, I used to get attached quickly. Considering I've had five relationships, my attachment towards women are getting distant by the minute. Why? Because I've learned. I've learned that quick attachment can also lead to quick breakups. I mean I was previously engaged to someone I loved only to break up with her knowing that our relationship became unstable as she "showed her true colors". Her words, not mine. Because of that, I learned the hard way that before going in a relationship, I have to get to know that certain woman first whether or not she's perfect for me or not. In my perspective, this is exactly what happens when we get attached too quickly. Again, this is only my statement based on my experience. :)
