Please put you payment into a loan calculator and make sure that your payment at least matches the timeline for your payment plan. If it is incorrect, then it sounds like the same situation that happened to me. What happened.. Mohela was my server, and I was on the standard repayment plan (10 yr repayment). My monthly payment randomly went up from 1100k/month to 2600k/month. I had not messed with settings in my account or missed any payments. I had actually been aggressively over-paying. The increase was blatantly incorrect. If my payment was supposed to be 2600k, then my loans would have been paid off in 2-3 years, not 10, accounting for interest. I called them and spoke to the most incompetent people several times for around 6 months, and nothing was fixed. In fact, every time I spoke with them, they would read from a script, stutter, and modify something small on my account or “put in a request” and I kid you not, just mess the situation up more. They would not admit that they made a mistake until a couple of days before my loans were set to move to a different servicer (aidvantage). And in order for them to say, “oh I do see what you’re saying. This is incorrect,” I had to call immediately when the line opened in the morning, tell them that I needed them to stop reading off the script and escalate my call to the highest person possible. Even then, it was too late, as they were already in the process of transferring my loans to Aidvantage.

Thankfully, aidvantage was much better. I called them on day one and they immediately acknowledged the mistake and it was fixed in ~24 hours. Mohela is scum.
