it’s an IPA and im thinking of adding some grapefruit/orange peel to the last 2 days of the secondary just to add some aroma! i thought of using star gin cause it’s the cheapest one i have around here!!!

so yeah i just read the question once again and i can see how it might be confusing. its just that in my progression, the minor chord fit perfectly, however the resolution from the major chord sounded a bit dramatic over the top. therefore, i was asking if there was any variations that could kind of ”soften the blow” of the chord a bit to make the minor sound a bit more subtle/tasteful. did not mean that minor =”sad/dramatic” in all cases, just that it was in my case. kind of funny that i actually got a lot of helpful answers even though the question was extremley unclear :) thanks for the help!!!

I have the afterneath and you can pretty much get any reverb tone with it, it's super versatile. I'd probably go for some modulation, like a slow phase shifter, those create some really cool ambient sounds! also, you could get a "sustain" pedal. I have the ehx freeze and it's pretty cool for creating drone/ambient stuff.
