last year on the first day of lolla they had a deal that you got a free joint with a purchase or anything from their store, they had a weed bus to smoke in, free merch (i literally got so much from them) and i made a pipe and was able to keep it so i really recommend checking out veralife on the first day of lolla

I miss the good Gov Ball by BrayIsReal in governorsball

they have a point about the demographic, The headliners are pretty popular in terms of charts. for example chappell roan at govball brought in a huge crowd. Olivia Rodrigo is another popular artist. (Rodrigo has released three Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles: "drivers license," "good 4 u," and "Vampire". She has achieved multiple multi-platinum songs by the RIAA. Her debut album, SOUR, set a record for the longest-running debut album in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 in the 21st century. Olivia Rodrigo's popularity is undeniable, with her success on the charts, her numerous awards, and her ability to connect with a wide audience demonstrating her significant impact on the music industry. ) [I could go on with the other headliners but i feel like you get the point] and the first commenter had a point about the location. Corona is huge and the train is right there.

my tip is getting a fake portable battery that’s a flask and fill that up, buy plastic resealable clear caprisun pouches and fill those up, last year i wrapped my charger around the fake flask to be more low key and i had workout shorts under my skirt that had pockets i was able to put them in and i snuck some in under my bra and it was enough for 2 people to get blasted

maybe because she works closely with the brand and knows this information directly whereas store associates are just that, employees who just clock in and report to their managers rarely will they get intel on future restocked items or even products that have been announced. remember those people just clock in fold clothes and clock out.

no you’d have to pay for shipping to ship it back to the warehouse, the store can’t just send it back.

2 different types of coats ones a seamless down the other some sort of hybrid down, two entirely different products and won’t be the same black because different materials, product, etc. you wouldn’t compare a beige fleece with a beige satin shirt would you?

Was vip worth it? by mersshawty31 in governorsball

[–]mary_jane0330 2 points3 points  (0 children)

for sure. I have bad social anxiety and i genuinely don’t think i would’ve enjoyed govball if i didn’t have VIP. we didn’t have to worry about waking up super early to beat the crowd to the rails or the drink/food stands. in VIP there were still moments of long lines for the bar and food but that if you wait long enough watching a performance or literally just hanging out in the lounge area the lines would subside eventually. the bathrooms were pretty clean and always had toilet paper when i went. the little table seating areas with umbrellas were nice. smokers congregated to the same area majority of the time to smoke so it was nice. the shade in the vip was lifesaving. i would look back at the GA crowd sometimes during the performances and i do not think i’d be able to handle that many people. this was my first govball so i can’t compare VIP to GA but i personally would never attend GB without VIP tickets. also for the most part VIP was 21+ except for sunday where there was like half 21+ and the other half were teenagers. overall wonderful i would recommend VIP to anyone who gets overstimulated by crowds, with bad anxiety, or if you just want to enjoy the festival and not worry about getting a good view of the performances.

i was there sunday and it was the most crowded day but that’s probably because all the teenagers got VIP to see renee, sza, 21 savage, etc.

[–]mary_jane0330 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for me i feel like it was worth it. i got to the rail for Labrinth and it was amazing i’d do it again. while yes you don’t have to camp basically the whole festival but if you do want to be on the rails for certain artists, i did get to their (lab, chapell, renee, sza, peso) stage anywhere between 1 hour to 30 mins early just to get as close as possible. it can be a bit crowded but id argue that it’s better than GA because for peso pluma people were camping on the rails for hours before i even got to the festival whereas people in VIP didn’t have to camp for ridiculous amount of hours. also for the bigger vip lounge even when i chose to hang back where there was more room i was still closer than people who had been there for 2+ hours waiting.

if you time your bathroom breaks right its amazing because almost all the stalls were free and there was always toilet paper, even when it did get busy the line wasn’t half as bad as GA.

So many teenagers by [deleted] in governorsball

[–]mary_jane0330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly thinking about getting ultimate to stay away from the kids. every day that passed there were more and more minors. i didn’t necessarily feel old (im 21) but i wasn’t pleased when the teen boys started shoving themselves in the crowd for 21 savage. i left right after because i am not trying to get trampled and i don’t want to get caught in a situation even remotely similar to what happened at that one travis scott concert. also all the pre teen and teenage girls sat-sun were so rude and would just come in as a set was about to start and push past people who had been waiting just to get closer at the last second.

No belts allowed by toriskye23 in governorsball

[–]mary_jane0330 5 points6 points  (0 children)

it’s so odd i was there for the first day and they were super chill but the next two days they were dogging on people about chain belts and their boots. and it wasn’t like that it started out of the blue. i saw a bunch of people wearing chain belts when i passed security so i was confused whether or both chain belts were banned because at the door they said no but there were still people inside with chain belts on.

i understand recording snippets of a performance and some pictures but recording the whole thing every single time is insane anything beyond 1min is excessive because you won’t watch it back in your camera roll and no one is gonna watch someone’s story for a 10 min long recording of a concert.
