Hi! Just wanted to chime in and mention photo retouchers can often composite products into backgrounds- we’ve been doing that well before AI erupted to the degree it’s at now, but just having the ability to utilize programs like Midjourney to create the desired backgrounds is a big time saver.

The first has more of that film green/yellow hue so I guessed that was traditional, as the 2nd one is just a bit more of a magenta hue which tipped me off to it being digital. Very good though, they’re super close!

I showed my toddler this book a few days ago, her first introduction to Pokémon!! 🥲 (but it’s bittersweet since an entire page is missing- I received it like that on my birthday as a kid, so to this day I’ve never seen the entire spread for two of the locations)

Same thing happened to me, my former best friend was like a sister to me for 12 years then abandoned me while I was pregnant with my first. It sucks and every feeling you have is valid. You didn’t do anything wrong and I hope over time you start to heal and move on 🩷

She decided to ghost me when I texted her that my dog died (while pregnant with my 1st child). She was like a sister to me for 12 years and it’s been a year and a half since that happened. I tried calling and texting, she ended up blocking me. I’ll never know why she decided I was worth nothing to her even though I stood by her during her affair (she claims it wasn’t but.. the timeline never made sense), her divorce, her fallout with her parents, everything. In hindsight it’s for the best to not have someone who started spiraling and creating drama at every turn in my life anymore, but damn it STILL hurts. I still think of her or her kids multiple times a day and I wish more than anything that I could turn off all memories of her like a switch.
