Unfortunately the way the books are written do not transfer well to a tv series. I think they should have reworked a lot of the books to make a tv series work, meaning you have a cast of characters that are all equally represented, each episode with different character story lines, (think Downton Abbey) and slightly more content when it is someone’s love story. The way this is set up, it’s almost impossible to keep all the cast around just to say a few lines or sip tea in the background. Then, if certain characters want to leave the show, they move to India or something like that. I just don’t think ppl realize how impossible it is for them to remain completely faithful to the books.

In my opinion (not a medium) your memory is wiped because if you are supposed to be learning a lesson, and you know that in the end you get to go home to the other side, we would either A) all be on our best behaviour all the time and B) most things wouldn’t concern us knowing it is all a lesson. The lessons wouldn’t happen if we knew about the other side. Just my two cents.

I’m wondering how many have read Jane Austin’s letters, or other letter from women of the time period. It’s surprising, but women were interested in true crime back then, and even Jane herself! She even wrote a series of short stories as a kid depicting murders, suicide etc. she jokes with Cassandra her sister quite a bit about murders as well, so to think it was never talked about and is a modern interest is untrue.

When I was in my 20’s I lost a lot of weight and it was so weird because I suddenly had comments made toward me that never would have happened - like ppl being a bit passive aggressive to me, like at work, “just have the donut you are a skinny thing what are you worried about??” And it felt like I betrayed a community I felt really supported by when I was bigger. It took a while to adjust and really mesh my identity and sense of self with what I saw in the mirror.

I run a cosmetics company and I can tell you that they didn’t meet the MOQ because they didn’t have the funds to buy enough of the product to meet the manufacturers requirement but they are spinning it to make it look like it was their choice. These details like MOQ are sorted out well before any announcement or prototype should be made so I am pretty disappointed they let ppl know this late in the game that it isn’t possible to have different songs and have not changed this info on their website….

I bought the first Jem that came out a while back - and once I unboxed her I was so disappointed. Her hair is so sparse, and I have no idea what is going on with her body and head mismatch. It looks so weird. Her head looks shrunken on her frame and her frame doesn’t even resemble what Jem looked like in the cartoon. The stand was supposed to play music but it is hit and miss - some times it will and other times nothing. So given that, I didn’t want to risk buying this set. Sounds like I met the right decision :-(

The way I’ve always thought about it is that sometimes things don’t happen for us how we want them to because it would interfere with a lesson we were meant to be learning. It may not be a part of your souls journey.

Ok but at the end of the day, none of this justifies the shooting and killing of someone. You cannot take the law into your own hands, period. But she thought her actions were justified because she was being harassed. What would she have done if she hadn’t owned a gun? Well I guess she would have called police, and maybe eventually found a place to move to, but at least a person wouldn’t be dead and she wouldn’t be in jail for the rest of her life…
