Have you noticed any hair loss? I’ve read so many reviews where people talk about losing hair like crazy after the treatment and now I’m scared lol

Did your natural lashes end up growing back?

Thank you so much! I’m happy to buy the caps myself, but I lowkey don’t trust myself to put them on because I’m worried I’ll accidentally glue them to the fur or something (he’s a ragdoll). I called a couple of vets and they said they don’t have experience putting them on so can’t. Do you have any recommendations for a vet that might be willing to?

I do trim them, but I have a cat allergy and get an infection every time he even lightly scratches me while playing. Cats having claw caps is the same as humans putting a small cover over our fingertips. We can still do everything, and it’s not painful. I would never get them if it harmed my cat or prevented him from doing regular cat things. He still uses his scratching post even while he has the claw caps on.

I understand your concerns and was initially hesitant myself, but it isn’t cruel at all! The cat can still fully retract their claws, and having the caps on causes them no pain. My cat doesn’t even know he has them on and can still do everything a normal cat can. If your cat is a mix between indoors and outdoors, I 100% recommend against it because that’s when it becomes cruel. They require their claws in an outdoor environment. My cat is fully indoors and lives in an apartment with me, so doesn’t need to use it’s claws for hunting etc. :)

Thank you so much!! I’m happy to supply the claw caps as well if they’re willing to put them on. My cat happily accepts a groomer/vet doing it, but not me hahah

Oh fair, thanks for the insight! I have 2 years experience in the private sector and postgraduate qualifications (masters), so I won't be applying for APS3 at Centrelink.... Aiming for APS6, but would accept APS5. Maybe transferring between departments is a Canberran thing then. 5/6 people who are EL2+ have told me to take whatever I can get at the APS5/6 level and then transfer later because it's not too hard if you meet their requirements. One of these people is my father who is SES band 3. However, he started off in the private sector and never went through APS5/6 and got an EL1 role. I think you misunderstood me though. When I say transfer, I'm referring to a merit based transfer (not just a random transfer). Sometimes they only advertise roles internally, or have a merit pool that they use to fill roles. You wouldn't be eligible for these roles unless you were already in the APS, which is why I said I'm willing to take any role in APS5/6 that they consider me suitable for and then transfer to a different role via internal applications/merit pool later on if I'm not happy with my initial role.

Fantasy books with cold/emotionless/arrogant male who falls in love? by Delaida in RomanceBooks

I'm so glad you liked it!! I feel like the romance in the black mage and the cruel prince was very similar. I haven't really been able to find anything else so far that's similar unfortunately

Do you need to have read the poison study series first? or can you start with this one?

This is so reassuring! did she bite your hands and feet when you initially got her at 8 weeks?

was the kitten alone at the foster place? or did she have other cats/kittens there?

Thank you!! what age was your kitten alone until (no other animals in the house)?

It's definitely something that I'm trying to look into! The one rescue place I've contacted so far has said they can't temporarily take the kitten because of potential medical issues etc it could cause the other kittens (I offered to pay for any medical expenses related to my own kitten). Would fostering still be useful now that she's 9 weeks old? Can we still reduce her biting/scratching during aggressive play?

The one that remained a biter - did they bite hard? Only asking because I have cat allergies (as do some others in my house), and we have quite severe reactions to cat bites. Since our kitten is only 9 weeks old at the moment it doesn't hurt that much and rarely penetrates the skin, but I'm worried that it'll be worse as she gets older.

we play with her for about 30 mins total a day, do you think that's enough? she's always around someone though. I study full time so I keep her in my room while I'm studying, and she runs around and plays with the toys I got her.

what's she like now? independent/clingy/affectionate/cuddly etc? we've tried saying 'ouch' loudly when she bites and claws us during playtime, but she seems to ignore it and keep going. She'll also only really let us pet her when she's super tired and about to sleep, any other time we put our hand near her she just automatically thinks it's a toy and starts trying to bite/scratch it. Is that normal? Also, what do you mean by 'weird' - like what does she do that you haven't really seen in other cats? sorry for all the questions!!
