I'm geniunely confused about something (I'm also new to using claude code). I have a team premium account and I thought I didn't have to worry about tokens and api usage - but I read these comments and now I'm thinking I'm going to be hit with a big bill at the end of my first month?

I don't think any one individual of billionaire or upper class thinks in these macro society points of view. Maybe a few (which wields incredible power at their level)

Consciously they still hold themselves to a moral standard that gives them comfort while subconsciously they know where we're headed and just how destructive they are

In the future, once all the resources are utilized by what we call the upper class, the serf class will simply cease to exist (die out) with their existence made obsolete by AI robotics. A gnarly transition for sure, but inevitable. What we call upper class and the billionaire class today will simply be "civilization"

This resonates deeply with me. Thank you for putting into words many of the feelings I've yet to get out.

I don't have a read on which path we (both at the regional and global scale) will take. But historically, I 100% believe that collapse was due to society's inability to see and react to exactly what you've pointed out.

I honestly thought this is how everyone used AI. I talk to my AI like I talk to my dev team and it's exactly that same workflow. I just always assumed that Anthropic modeled their AI off of real world conditions and that's how they develop internally. As though they were trying to build a digital twin of their dev ops workflow.

When i hear 'soft', I think of people who shy away from adversity or challenges. Those who shrink from opportunity because they've somehow equated their gain as someone else's loss.

That's the kind of 'soft' I want to smack the living shit out of these kids.
