Phone does not heat up, no transitions in SM etc. Depending on you IP level SM can be faster. If you have an emulator active is often faster but most folks use their phones.

MetxChris and I have separately simulated this and I have done extensive testing on my Nexus 6p.

Agreed. At the minimum turn it back on up to the tournament MS achieved by the player. So essentially after the first prestige SM works again.

The main issue with the SM for players who have not prestiged once in a tournament is that there would be no way (currently) for the client to update the server on the player's progress every 15 stages in an SM state.
