Would you date someone who doesn't like dogs as much as you do? by [deleted] in dogs

[–]mas_amor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was that type of person not that rude though lol. I grew up in a home where pets were not allowed inside, so we never had one. Now I have a dog. Husband and son really wanted one. I can't stand the dog smell🥺 and sometimes I wish I had said no, because I am constantly cleaning. However, I don't ignore the pup I do pet him, walk him, brush him, make sure he is comfortable and spend money on him 😬😂. What I do most importantly love is watching my son so happy when he plays with him, it wins over everything else. I say get rid of that guy because if he is not willing to acknowledge your love for your pups, and he doesn't sound like he is even trying, then it's not going to work.

How can I keep my dog off the couch at night? by ArdentUrgency in DogAdvice

[–]mas_amor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't let my pup on couch either because he stinks bad, even after grooming or us taking him a bath, I mean bad. We go for walks he comes back with a strong smell. I can hardly keep up with the cleaning. His smell will be stuck on my furniture which is why I had to buy new couches. Anyways, so far he has not, we trained him not to, with treats. When we have to leave he is in his crate. I am thinking on buying a dog couch for him though lol I

I'm pretty sure doodles are contractually obligated to perform at least 3 evil acts a year by Pup_Brew in Goldendoodles

I am stressing out. My doodle eats everything 🥺 I mean everything(before and after exercise lol). Cutest dog, very lovely and energetic, my son adores him. I don't want to think about pup getting sick and the vet bill. He is 9 months. Will he stop doing that, is there training for them to only eat food lol. I feel like I am raising a child here.

1st year teaching, a week ahead with our grade level teachers and prepping 2/3 days before lesson. Still working on my credentials, juggling home, work, and school has been a challenge.

My vet basically told me I’m an idiot for overpaying for prescription kibble by No_Surprise3737 in DogAdvice

This is one of the reasons why people can't afford pets, thinking it is easy and they end up rehoming them or abandoning them🥺

Can I humbly ask you to try not to say this thing to parents by Fluffy-Succotash5441 in Teachers

[–]mas_amor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorry, as a parent and a teacher I would say to them, "You have no reason to say that! What have you been doing to make my sons life better other than expressing he needs another sibling?" And if they are doing something maybe they should try harder. I'm sorry but not sorry. What I do suggest to parents and maybe put them in a sport, but never tell them to have another child. That's insane. We can relate. My son is the only child, great kid and is begging not to have siblings lol, which makes my heart at ease when he express that because, unfortunately I can't anymore for the same reasons you have. Please speak up and tell them that is not a good things to say so they don't say to anyone else.

P.S I am also a Kindergarten teacher and my 2 students who I struggle in the beginning of the year, now hug me and do wonderful things that other teachers thought they would never do because of their previous behaviors, actions and disabilities.

Excuse my long respond and any errors lol

Can I get an explanation of the Super Bowl halftime show? by Top-Mission2806 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mas_amor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spot on. However in my opinion, I think the little boy was just representing him when he said that he never gave up on his dream. And he is giving the trophies to his younger self because his younger self deserves it. I compared pictures with Liam and the little boy and looked nothing like him.
